Smog Emission removal for a 1990 Jeep Laredo?
I am fixing my jeep up for an off road toy. A friend from work says there are many parts I can remove from the engine that only reduce smog. due to the area I live in there are no DEQ regulations. what can I get rid of while I am in the process of a total rebuild?

I only read as far as "smog emission removal" because this is simply against federal law unless the vehicle is to remain unregistered and never driven on public roads.

The catalytic converter, and O2 Sensors are the major players when it comes to smog control. But if you are making this an off road toy just buy a header (if it is the 4.0L) or headers (V8 models) and a high flow muffler. If you really want no restriction you can out a bypass in and with the flip of a switch you can dump straight from the header. You will need to hook up the "dummy" plug 02 sensors as the computer will be looking for some sort of feedback from them otherwise you'll get codes and a motor that doesn't run quite rite.

what does the mexican cartel(or police,or maybe even military) do with their hostages?
if someone lives in (U.S)Laredo and works on the other side of the border(Mexico, nuevo Laredo) and that person had a van pull up to them with several masked men and started chasing and then that guy went missing what do they do to them. and the person who they took was random

They would start by asking for ransom. If that person has family in the U.S. the ransom will be higher. In the past fingers have been cut off, and in most cases the person was killed, even after they received the ransom money. If the person that was kidnapped was involved with the cartels he would probably be tortured and killed. This has caused the Mexican government to bring the death penalty to people who kidnap and then kill their hostages.
