i have a 2000 jeep grand Cherokee laredo?
when i put it into four low it dont want to work it makes a funny sound like its trying to go into gear but want in the summer it had no problem working

There is a lot of reasons your four low may be making noise, what were you using 4 Low for in the summer? You are not supposed to go over 15MPH in four low, if you did, you could have easily damaged your transfer case. More info would help

Change the oil in your transfer case as the clutch packs in the transfer case wear the friction material gets in to the oil and thickens it up. When the weather gets cold the oil gets even thicker and makes it hard to engage the four wheel drive.
